The Best Pantry Pasta Recipe

This Easy Pantry Pasta comes in handy for quick dinners. Create your own creamy pantry pasta by mixing and matching vegetables from four staple ingredients!

Basic pasta recipe: – 8 ounces pasta, bowties, penne, rotini, etc. – 8 ounces evaporated milk – 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese plus more for serving – 1 Italian seasoning packet For the veggies: – 1 Tablespoon olive oil – 1 zucchini, halved and sliced – 1 shallot, sliced – 10-15 cherry tomatoe – Salt and pepper, to taste


Cook pasta. After cooking the pasta al dente, drain and return it to the saucepan.


Step 1

Make sauce. Stir the noodles, evaporated milk, Parmesan cheese, and Italian spice packet until the cheese melts.

Step 2

Meanwhile, sauté protein and vegetables. Over medium heat, heat olive oil in a pan.

Add zucchini and sauté undisturbed until bottom is golden, then flip and brown other side. After seasoning with salt and pepper, transfer to a platter or add to cooked pasta.

Step 4

Sauté shallots, tomatoes, and crab in the skillet for 6-8 minutes until onions soften and tomatoes burst open and release juices. This enhances the sauce! Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5

Mix. Mix all the vegetables into the spaghetti and coat them with sauce. To your liking, add Parmesan to pasta.
