The Best Lemon Pepper Chicken Recipe 

This 20-minute lemon pepper chicken with butter sauce recipe is simple! Busy weeknight dinner perfection.  

– 4 thin cut boneless skinless chicken breast – 1/3 cup all purpose flour – 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning or more to taste – salt to taste – 2 tablespoons olive oil – 2 tablespoons butter – 2 teaspoons lemon juice – 1 tablespoon chopped parsley – sliced lemons and parsley sprigs optional garnish


Combine flour, lemon pepper seasoning, and salt to taste. Pour the flour mixture onto a plate or small bowl.  


Step 1

Heat olive oil in a big pan on medium-high. Turn the chicken breasts in the flour mixture to coat evenly.  

Step 2

Chicken should be cooked for 5-6 minutes per side in the pan. Take the chicken out of the pan and plate it. Cover to stay warm.  

Step 3

Whisk lemon juice into melted butter in the pan. Add salt to taste. Return the chicken to the pan. Cover chicken with sauce.  

Step 4

Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon slices and extra parsley sprigs.
