Simple Cilantro Lime Shrimp Recipe

This cilantro lime shrimp recipe uses soft shrimp, butter, garlic, cumin, lime juice, and fresh cilantro. This dish is ready in minutes!  


– 2 tablespoons butter – 1 pound extra large shrimp peeled and deveined – ½ teaspoon salt – ¼ teaspoon pepper – 2 teaspoons minced garlic – ¼ teaspoon cumin – ¼ cup chopped cilantro leave – 2 tablespoons lime juice – cilantro springs and lime wedges for garnish



In a large saucepan, melt the butter by heating it over high heat. Make sure to season the prawns with a generous amount of salt and pepper.  


When the prawns are pink and opaque, add them to the pan and cook them for three to four minutes while stirring them occasionally.  


Continue to simmer for one more minute after adding the garlic and cumin.  


The lime juice and cilantro should be stirred in. Immediately serve, garnishing with lime wedges and cilantro sprigs, if preferred, and serve immediately.
