Long Hot Peppers Recipe

– 2 pounds whole long hot pepper – Oil for roasting or frying  – Coarse sea salt

Gather everything you need. Wash the peppers in cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel before you cook them.

DIRECTIONS FOR ROASTING: Put the rack in the middle of the oven and heat it up to 400°F.  

Step 2

A little oil should be put on each long hot. Now, put the whole peppers on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper in a single layer. Put the pan in the oven.  

Step 3

After 10 to 15 minutes on one side, use tongs to flip each pepper over and roast for another 10 to 15 minutes. When the peppers are soft and lightly browned, they are done.
