Easy Pan Seared Salmon With Garlic Butter Recipe

This pan-seared salmon has delicate fillets and the best garlic butter sauce. In just 20 minutes, this dinner is ready!  

– 4 salmon fillets 4-6 ounces each – 1 tablespoon olive oil – 3 tablespoons butter – 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic – 2 teaspoons lemon juice – salt and pepper to taste – 1 tablespoon chopped parsley


Heat olive oil in a large skillet on medium-high. Salt and pepper salmon fillets to taste.  


Step 1

Place skin-side-up salmon fillets in pan. Leave for 5 minutes to develop a golden brown crust.  

Step 2

Flip the salmon carefully and cook for 5-6 minutes until opaque and flaky. Remove fish from pan. Add butter to pan and melt.  

Step 3

Cook garlic in the pan for 30 seconds, stirring regularly. Add lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.  

Step 4

Return the salmon to the pan. Spread sauce on top. Sprinkle parsley on fish and serve.
