Easy Cilantro Lime Chicken Recipe

You'll want to make this Cilantro Lime Chicken again and again since it's so tasty and easy to make.

INGREDIENTS

– ½ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro – 2 scallions thinly sliced – 2 cloves garlic minced – Zest of 1 lime – 1 ½ tablespoons lime juice fresh squeezed – 1 tablespoon olive oil – 1 tablespoon ground cumin – 1 teaspoon honey – ½ teaspoon kosher salt – ½ teaspoon onion powder – ¼ teaspoon garlic powder – ¼ teaspoon black pepper – 4 chicken breasts boneless, skinle – 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP-1

Add cilantro, scallions, garlic, lime zest, juice, olive oil, cumin, honey, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper to a ziplock bag. Close the bag and stir ingredients well.

STEP-2

Combine ½ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro, 2 scallions, 2 cloves garlic, lime zest, 1 ½ tablespoons lime juice, 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil, 1 tsp ground cumin, 1 tsp honey, ½ tsp kosher salt, 

STEP-3

Close the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken. Put the bag in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

STEP-4

4 chicken breasts Heat the oven to 350°F. Add vegetable oil to a large oven-safe skillet (cast iron works well) over medium heat.

STEP-5

 Sear the chicken till golden brown on both sides when heated. Searing, not cooking, is our goal. About 3-5 minutes/side. 1 tbsp oil Put the skillet in the oven and cook until 165°F. About 15-20 minutes.
