Delicious Oreo Cheesecake Bars Recipe 

A smooth and creamy cheesecake with a chocolate and Oreo topping and an Oreo crust made of butter.  

– 36 Oreos, divided – 1/4 cup butter, melted – 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened – 3/4 cup sugar – 3/4 cup sour cream – 1 teaspoon vanilla – 3 large egg – 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped


Preheat oven to 325. Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with overhanging parchment paper. Use cooking spray.  


Step 1

Prepare crust. A ziplock bag with 26 Oreos will be crushed with a rolling pin. [Or food processor]. Shake the melted butter in the bag until mixed. Press Oreos into pan bottom.  

Step 2

Make cheesecake filling. Mix cream cheese and sugar for 3 minutes in a stand mixer. Beat sour cream and vanilla until smooth after scraping sides.   

Step 3

Beat well after each egg and scrape basin as needed. Cover Oreo crumb crust with mixture. Crack and sprinkle the remaining chunky Oreos over top.  

Step 4

Bake until borders are firm and centre is slightly jiggly, 42–45 minutes. Chill cheesecake. Slice after 2 hours in fridge.  

Step 5

Melt chocolate. Use a double boiler or microwave to cook chocolate for 30 seconds. Drizzle chocolate. After the bars cool, remove them from the pan with parchment.   

Step 6

Spoon chocolate over bars evenly. Cut and serve bars after 10-15 minutes of chocolate setting.
