Delicious Guinness Cupcakes Recipe

Guinness enhances rich, chocolatey cupcakes! Guinness Cupcakes with vanilla buttercream make a delectable St. Patrick's Day dessert.  

– 1 12-ounce bottle Guinness Stout – ½ cup milk – ½ cup vegetable oil – 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract – 3 large egg – ¾ cup sour cream – ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder – 2 cups granulated sugar – 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour – 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda – Homemade Buttercream Frosting


Heat the oven to 350°F. Mix Guinness, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix in eggs one at a time. Stir in sour cream.  


Step 1

Mix cocoa, sugar, flour, and baking soda in a large bowl. Mix the dry ingredients into the Guinness slowly.  

Step 2

Divide batter into 24 muffin pans. Bake 25 minutes until risen and set but tender.   

Step 3

Turn out of tins after cooling. After cupcakes cool, pipe or spread icing.
