Best Green Bean Bundles Recipe

These green bean bundles, which are wrapped in bacon, are the ideal sophisticated accompaniment to any lunch or dinner.  


– 1 1/4 lbs green beans look for thinner green beans or use french green beans (haricot vert) – 6 slices bacon cut in half, do not use thick cut bacon – 1 teaspoon garlic salt or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1/4 cup butter melted – 2 tablespoons brown sugar – 1/2 teaspoon pepper – 1 tablespoon chopped parsley optional – cooking spray



Warm the oven up to 400 degrees. Bake the bacon for 7 minutes on a baking sheet. Take the bacon out of the oven.  Cut the green beans' ends off. Heat up some salty water in a pot.  


Add the green beans to the pot and cook for two to three minutes, until they are just barely soft. To stop the boiling, drain the green beans and put them in a bowl of ice water.  


Dry the green beans with a paper towel. Put the garlic salt, butter, brown sugar, and pepper in a small bowl and mix them together.  


Mix the butter and salt together, then add the green beans and toss to coat.  


With a stick, wrap 8 to 10 green beans in a piece of bacon.  Put the bundles of green beans on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray.  


Put the bacon in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it gets crispy. Add some parsley on top, and then serve.
