Best Air Fryer Chicken Tenders Recipe

These tasty air-fried chicken tenders are crispy outside and juicy within! Make these for dinner or freeze them for convenient meals later. The whole family will enjoy these!  

– 2 pounds boneless/skinless chicken tender – 2 cups buttermilk – 2 tablespoons hot sauce or buffalo sauce – 2 cups all-purpose flour – 2 tablespoons seasoned salt – 2 cups Kellogg’s Corn Flakes Crumb – 2 eggs whisked with a splash of water – Fine sea salt & black pepper

INGREDIENTS 

Mix buttermilk and spicy sauce in a covered bowl. Put chicken tenders in the container. Cover and chill 1-2 hours, ideally overnight.  

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Before making chicken tenders, drain the marinated chicken in a strainer. Three huge shallow dishes or pie plates.   

Step 2

Combine flour, seasoned salt, sea salt, and black pepper. Water-whipped eggs go in second. Put corn flake crumbs on third.  

Step 3

Thoroughly flour and coat chicken tenders. Use eggwash. Finally, lightly press corn flake crumbs onto the chicken with your hands. Sheet-baked tenders.  

Step 4

Heat air fryer to 400°F for 10-15 minutes and coat chicken.Heat the air fryer and gently place batches of breaded chicken tenders in the basket.   

Step 5

Dish out uncooked breaded chicken tenders on parchment paper. Put the tray in the freezer for 2 hours to freeze strips. Freeze frozen strips for 3 months in a zip-top bag.  

Step 6

Heat an air fryer at 400°F for 10-15 minutes. Put frozen chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in an even layer after heating.   

Step 7

Flip halfway during 8-10 minutes of 400°F air-frying.
